Billing
View invoices, update payment methods, and understand your Madra billing.
Madra uses Stripe to process all payments securely. Your billing information, invoices, and payment method can all be managed directly from your dashboard. You never need to contact support to handle routine billing tasks.
Where can I find my invoices?
All your invoices are available in your dashboard. To view them:
- Log in to your dashboard.
- Go to the Billing section.
- You will see a list of all past invoices, sorted by date.
- Click on any invoice to view it or download it as a PDF.
Each invoice includes:
- The invoice date and number
- Your plan name and billing period
- The amount charged (including VAT where applicable)
- The payment method used
- Your billing name and address
How do I update my payment method?
You can change your credit or debit card at any time. Here is how:
- Log in to your dashboard.
- Go to the Billing section.
- Click Update payment method.
- Enter your new card details.
- Click Save.
The new card will be used for all future payments starting immediately. Madra accepts Visa, Mastercard, and most major credit and debit cards. All card data is processed securely by Stripe and is never stored on Madra servers.
When am I billed?
Madra subscriptions are billed monthly, on the same date each month. Your billing date is set when you first subscribe. For example, if you subscribe on March 15, you will be billed on the 15th of every subsequent month.
Key details about billing cycles:
- Billing date. The same day each month as your original subscription date.
- Currency. All prices are in EUR. Your bank may apply a small conversion fee if your card is in a different currency.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each month. You do not need to take any action to keep your site online.
- Prorated charges. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

What is the refund policy?
Madra operates on a monthly subscription model. Here is how refunds work:
- Cancellation. When you cancel, you are not charged again, but no refund is issued for the current billing period. Your site stays online until the period ends.
- Duplicate charges. If you are accidentally charged twice for the same period, contact support and we will issue a full refund for the duplicate charge.
- Service issues. If you experience a significant service outage or issue caused by Madra, contact support. Refunds or credits are handled on a case-by-case basis.
- First month. If you are not satisfied with your website within the first 14 days after delivery, contact support to discuss your options. We want to make sure you are happy with the result.
What if I have a payment issue?
Payment problems can happen for several reasons. Here are the most common issues and how to resolve them:
- Card declined. Check that your card has not expired and that you have sufficient funds. Try updating your payment method with a different card.
- 3D Secure authentication. Some banks require additional verification (3D Secure) for online payments. If your payment fails, check if your bank sent a verification request via their app or SMS.
- Currency conversion. If your card is not in EUR, your bank may block international transactions by default. Contact your bank to authorize the payment.
- Expired card. If your card has expired, update your payment method in the Billing section before your next billing date.
- Unknown charge. If you see a charge from "Madra" or "Stripe" that you do not recognize, it is likely your monthly subscription. Check your dashboard to confirm the amount and date.
