Site Structure

Understand how your Madra website is organized: pages, sections, and navigation.

Every Madra website follows a clear, professional structure designed to present your business effectively to visitors. Your site is built using a combination of pages, sections, a header, and a footer that work together to create a cohesive browsing experience.

How is my site organized?

Your Madra website is organized into three main layers:

  • Header. The top bar visible on every page, containing your logo, navigation menu, and optionally a call-to-action button.
  • Page content. The main body of each page, made up of individual sections stacked vertically (hero, services, testimonials, contact, etc.).
  • Footer. The bottom bar visible on every page, containing your contact details, links, and legal information.

The header and footer are shared across all pages. When you update them once, the change applies everywhere automatically.

What pages are included by default?

When Madra builds your website, a set of default pages is created based on your business type and the information you provided in the order form. The most common default pages include:

  • Home. Your main landing page with an overview of your business, key services, and a call to action.
  • About. A page presenting your story, team, values, or history.
  • Services. A detailed breakdown of what you offer, often with individual sections per service.
  • Contact. A page with your contact form, address, phone number, email, and optionally a Google Maps embed.

Depending on your plan and needs, additional pages may be included such as a gallery, testimonials, pricing, or blog.

Note
The number of pages included depends on your plan. The Starter plan (29.90 EUR/month) includes up to 5 pages, while the Pro plan (39.90 EUR/month) includes up to 15 pages.

How is the header structured?

The header appears at the top of every page and serves as the primary navigation for your visitors. It typically contains:

  • Your logo. Displayed on the left side, clicking it returns visitors to the home page.
  • Navigation links. A horizontal menu listing your main pages (Home, About, Services, Contact, etc.).
  • Call-to-action button (optional). A highlighted button on the right side, such as "Get a quote" or "Book now."

On mobile devices, the navigation links collapse into a hamburger menu that opens as a slide-out panel. This responsive behavior is built in automatically.

The footer appears at the bottom of every page and provides essential information that visitors expect to find easily. A typical Madra footer includes:

  • Business name and description. A short summary of your activity.
  • Contact details. Phone number, email address, and physical address.
  • Quick links. Shortcuts to important pages on your site.
  • Social media icons. Links to your profiles on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
  • Legal links. Links to your privacy policy, terms of service, and legal notices.
  • Copyright notice. Automatically generated with the current year.

To update any element in the footer, submit a change request from your dashboard.

How do I add new sections to a page?

Each page on your Madra website is composed of sections. A section is a full-width block of content with its own layout, background, and purpose. Common section types include:

  • Hero section. A large introductory area with a headline, subtitle, and image or background.
  • Features or services. A grid or list showcasing what you offer.
  • Testimonials. Customer reviews displayed as cards or a carousel.
  • Call to action. A banner encouraging visitors to take a specific action.
  • Gallery. A photo grid or slideshow.
  • FAQ. A collapsible list of frequently asked questions.

To add a new section to an existing page, submit a change request from your dashboard. Describe the type of section you want, what content it should contain, and where on the page it should appear. Our team will design and integrate it for you.

Tip
When requesting a new section, provide as much detail as possible: the text, images, and any reference examples from other websites. This helps our team deliver exactly what you have in mind.
